This job is being advertised via the London chapterEngine Service Design is one of a small number of design consultancies focused solely on the application of design thinking and practice to the challenges of service organisations. We identify new propositions, design services and develop vision and strategy all to improve business performance and the experience for customers. We also work with organisations to develop their ability to design and delivery better services and in doing so embed design and design management tools and processes. We work across the private and public sectors.
The range and depth of our work has developed steadily over 10 years and the skill, experience and expertise of the team has developed in response. Although we rarely advertise for specific roles with clear job titles, we continue to look for people who have well-honed core consulting skills and who can add a new string to our bow.
We’ve been lucky enough to have worked with excellent clients in big organisations and we continue to be asked to get an angle on tricky challenges. If what we do tweaks your interest and you have at least four years of consulting or in-house experience in design (of any kind), design management, strategy, brand development or human factors we’d love to hear from you. Demonstrable experience of working for or within large service organisations in any sector is going to be a real advantage.
